Key Features

The CPC Centrifugal Pump is designed with hygiene in mind, with fully EHEDG-compliant wetted parts. The open impellers feature pressure-relief holes to allow optimal cleaning of the shaft seal and the seal chamber.

For further cleanliness, the impeller is dry-mounted on the shaft using O-rings, specifically designed to minimise product contact while ensuring thorough cleaning of all surfaces in contact with the media.

  • Available in 4 sizes
  • Liquid contact parts are manufactured from Cast Stainless Steel AISI 316L
  • Surface roughness of Ra<0.8 as standard, with Ra<0.5 available on request
  • Equipped with open or star impellers, offering solids handling capabilities up to 10mm

What’s the difference between the CPC and other Sanitary Centrifugal Pumps?

The CPC Series is EHEDG-certified and built for the most demanding Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Biotech applications, combining high capacity (up to 500m³/hr), solids handling up to 10mm, and multiple impeller types with full compliance to hygienic design standards.

Can the CPC Pump handle high pressure applications?

Yes. The CPC-HD model is designed for pressures of up to 40 Bar, ideal for pressure boosting, reverse osmosis, and other high-pressure duties.

Which industries is the CPC best suited for?

Typical applications of the EHEDG Sanitary Centrifugal Pump include Dairy, Beverages, Chocolate and Confectionery, Sugar Processing, CIP/SIP Systems, as well as Pharmaceutical & Biotech applications.

What materials is the CPC contructed from?

All wetted parts are made from cast AISI 316L Stainless Steel as standard, with AISI 316L Mo+Ni or Hastelloy C22 available for enhanced corrosion resistance.

What surface finish is provided?

Electropolished to Ra<0.8 μm as standard, with Ra<0.5 μm available on request for ultra-hygienic applications.

Can this pump handle solids?

Yes. Depending on the impeller type, the CPC can handle solids up to 10mm without compromising hygienic performance.

What impeller options are available?

Open or Star Impellers can be fitted, each designed for specific flow and solids-handling needs.

What seal options are offered?

Multiple EHEDG/FDA-compliant mechanical seal configurations are available, including single or double with quench or flush, internal or external, with material combinations including Carbon/SiC, SiC/SiC, and Tungsten Carbide/Tungsten Carbide.

Is there a self-priming version available?

Yes. The CPC-ZA variant offers self-priming capability (up to 5m suction lift) for sanitary applications where the pump must draw from an unfilled suction line.

What temperature and viscosity limit does it handle?

The standard execution handles temperatures up to 150°C (higher is available on request) and viscosities up to 500 cPs.

What connection types are available?

DIN11851, SMS1145, EN1092-1 flanges, ANSI flanges, ISO2852/DIN32676 Tri-Clamps, and DIN11864 hygienic couplings are all available.
