The CPC-ZA Self-Priming Sanitary Centrifugal Pump from Pomac Pumps is an EHEDG-certified pump designed to meet the highest hygiene standards, offering an ideal solution for applications involving trapped air or gas within the product across the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Food industries.
Featuring a semi-open impeller, the CPC-ZA model ensures optimal performance in challenging conditions and is the self-priming variant of the CPC model, boasting self-priming capabilities up to 6m. Suited to applications requiring suction lift, such as CIP Return or Truck Unloading, this pump is available in 4 set sizes, with capacities up to 300 m³/hr at 9 Bar in 50 Hz and 350 m³/hr at 13 Bar in 60 Hz.
Additionally, this pump offers solids handling capabilities up to 10mm and is ATEX-rated for use in hazardous environments.

Our standard CPC pump, EHEDG-rated and suitable for applications that do not require suction lift.
The CPC-ZA can be fitted with either a star impeller or an open impeller, depending on the media being pumped.
Units can be supplied close-coupled in KAM, KAV & KAC designs with B3 or B5 motors, or with pneumatic, diesel-driven or hydraulic motors in their IG & IGH forms.

Dairy, beverages, food processing, chocolates and sweets, sugar, CIP and SIP return lines, and truck unloading.
The CPC-ZA offers flows up to 300m³/hr at 9 Bar (50 Hz) or 350m³/hr at 13 Bar (60 Hz), as well as maximum pressures of 130m and a maximum suction lift of 6m.
Depending on the model and impeller, the CPC-ZA can handle solids up to 10mm in diameter.
Both open and star impellers are available for this pump, with both options featuring O-rings and pressure-relief holes for optimal shaft-seal cleaning and enhanced hygienic operation.
The wetted parts are constructed from AISI 316L as standard, with AISI 316L Mo Ni, or Hastelloy C22 are available on request. Furthermore, the pump is electropolished to Ra <0.8 μm as standard, with the option of Ra <0.5 μm on request.
