What makes the CTX High Performance Centrifugal Pump different from standard Centrifugal Pumps?

The CTX Series is designed for superior efficiency and higher capacities and is available in larger sizes compared to our standard Centrifugal Pumps.

Which industries typically use the CTX series?

Our High-Performance Centrifugal Pump is used in demanding Industrial, Hygienic, and Pharmaceutical processes where high efficiency, durability, and reliability are critical, from chemical production to dairy, beverage, and CIP/SIP operations.

What’s the difference between the CTX H and CTX I models?

The CTX H Hygienic variant features Stainless Steel wetted parts electropolished to Ra<0.8, as well as a hygienic motor shroud and drainable casing for Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical applications.

The CTX I Industrial variant features Stainless Steel surfaces glass-blasted to Ra<3.2, with industrial flanged connections for chemical and process industries.

Can the CTX handle aggressive or abrasive fluids?

Yes. Optional double mechanical seals and robust SiC/Carbon or SiC/SiC materials allow safe pumping of abrasive, polymerising or aggressive liquids.

Does the CTX support self-priming?

It does! The CTX-S is the self-priming variant of the High-Performance Centrifugal Pump, offering self-priming up to 5m, ideal for dry suction lift tasks.

Is the CTX Pump customisable?

Yes! Options include single or double mechanical seals, an inducer for lower NPSHr, a built-in frequency inverter for variable speed control, heating jackets (hygienic models), and adjustable feet for easy cleaning and relocation.

What is the temperature and viscosity range?

It handles liquids from -10°C up to 120°C (up to 140°C for short SIP cycles) and viscosities up to 150 cPs.

How easy is maintenance on this pump?

The CTX range has minimal downtime and quick servicing to reduce total lifecycle costs, thanks to its modular design, robust build and easy seal access.
