Our Sanitary Centrifugal Pump, designed to meet the strictest requirements of the Food and Pharmaceutical industries, offers reliable performance and simple maintenance for handling liquids in various sanitary applications. EHEDG certified, these pumps ensure compliance and efficiency in Food Processing, Pharmaceutical Production, and other sanitary environments. The CPC-HD model caters to high-pressure applications, such as pressure boosting and reverse osmosis, capable of handling pressures up to 40 Bar. Featuring 4 set sizes, these pumps offer a capacity range of up to 400m³/hr and 9 Bar in 50 Hz and 500m³/hr and 13 Bar in 60 Hz. Liquid contact parts are manufactured from Cast Stainless Steel AISI 316L, with options for AISI 316L Mo+Ni and Hastelloy C22 on request. Surface roughness of Ra <0.8 as standard, with Ra <0.5 available on request. Additionally, these pumps are equipped with Open or Star impellers, offering solids handling capabilities up to 10mm, offering versatile configuration options to suit specific operational needs.
Typical applications for our Sanitary Centrifugal Pump:
Our CPC Series of Sanitary Centrifugal Pumps is explicitly designed for use within the Food and Pharmaceutical industries with a heavy emphasis on robust design, optimal cleanability, efficiency, low maintenance costs and simple maintenance.
The range consists of 4 set sizes, CPC 160-210-260-310 with a capacity range up to 400m/hr and 9 Bar in 50 Hz and 500m/hr and 13 Bar in 60 Hz and standard and 40 Bar for the CPC-HD units for high-pressure applications such as pressure boosting or reverse osmosis.
All liquid contact parts comply with EHEDG standards and are manufactured from cast Stainless Steel AISI 316L or AISI 316L Mo+Ni or Hastelloy C22 upon request for increased corrosion resistance with a surface roughness of 0.8 as standard (0.5 on request). The open or star impellers, which are dry-mounted to the shaft through O-Rings, are also fitted with pressure relief holes to ensure optimal cleaning of the shaft seal and chamber. The O-Rings ensure that there is minimal liquid contact with the shaft whilst cleaning the contact faces at the same time.
There are minimal clearances between the impeller and the back casing to ensure high efficiencies and pressures whilst retaining its solids-handling ability up to 10 mm. Units can be supplied close coupled in KAM, KAV & KAC designs with B3 or B5 motors or pneumatic, diesel driven or hydraulic motors in their IG & IGH forms. Various Mechanical Sealing & O-Ring options, drain connections and heating jackets are available on request.

All mechanical seals are specifically designed for use with the CPC range according to DIN 24960 and are fitted with EHEDG / FDA compliant O-Rings. They feature a 2 pin construction so that they rotate with the impeller. They are available in the following material combinations:
The mechanical seals are available with EPDM, Viton, Perbunan and Teflon “O”-rings.
Internal Mechanical Seal /Internal Mechanical Seal w. Quench
A quench is applied when a constant pressure-free flush to prevent fouling of the mechanical seal is required due to the product being pumped. External Mechanical Seal /External Mechanical Seal with Flush
A Flush is applied when a considerable under-pressure is present on the suction side or when constant flushing of the seal is required. The pressure of the flushing fluid must always be higher than the discharge pressure.
