Europe’s Largest Diaphragm Pump Manufacturer
Our HDPE & PTFE Air Operated Diaphragm Pump is machined from solid block HDPE & PTFE, making it suitable for handling a wide range of fluids, including viscous and chemically aggressive liquids, as well as those containing abrasive solids. These ATEX-available Diaphragm Pumps are self-priming up to 9m, and deliver discharge pressures up to 16 Bar. Additionally, our Diaphragm Pumps are designed using no-nut, clean-face diaphragms, meaning they feature approximately 70% fewer parts than standard Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps on the market today.
Typical applications for our HDPE & PTFE Air Operated Diaphragm Pump:

Our Diaphragm Pumps are machined from either solid block HDPE or PTFE. This ensures the pump can withstand the mechanical force of the pump, as well as handle aggressive chemicals.
HDPE Diaphragm Pumps
HDPE offers superior wear resistance compared to standard Polypropylene, which ensures these pumps can handle abrasive fluids. For parts that are more vulnerable to wear inside the pump, such as valve seats and ball stoppers, a different grade of HDPE can be used that has an even greater resistance to abrasion and mechanical stress.
HDPE is also resistant to the most aggressive chemicals such as concentrated acids and alkalis. This means that our HDPE Pumps are ideal for chemical handling.
PTFE Diaphragm Pumps
Another option for our plastic AOD Pumps is PTFE. Solid block PTFE offers a stronger chemical and temperature resistance to HDPE. For example, PTFE can handle temperatures up to 100°C instead of 70°C for HDPE.
If you’re looking for an environmentally friendly option, our LEAP Technology (Low Energy Air Pump) is available for all our HDPE & PTFE Diaphragm Pumps, offering energy savings of up to 70%. Help me meet my business’ energy-saving targets!
Thanks to our innovative and simple design, our Diaphragm Pump ranges are compact, robust, and reliable. They are quick and easy to maintain, keeping your service costs and process downtime to an absolute minimum.

Features a no-nut, clean-face diaphragm which aids in extending the life of the diaphragms. The layers of the diaphragm are chemically bonded rather than being held together with a nut, like many of our competitors’ diaphragms. No-nut reduces the risk of leakage and means the diaphragms are easy to clean
Self-Priming capabilities up to 5m from dry and 9m when wetted
Discharge pressure up to 8 Bar as standard or 16 Bar when the system features an integrated booster
Air operated – simple to install and intrinsically safe. ATEX-rated HDPE/PTFE pumps are available
Able to run dry without damage to the pump. (Please note that dry running for long periods of time will cause increased wear to the pump internals)
Lubricant-free air distribution system
Various installation options including flooded, self-priming, and submerged
Various configurations are available including pumps with twin inlet and/or outlet ports, Barrier Diaphragm Pumps, and Filter Press options to name a few
A range of pneumatic accessories to support the pumping process, control & maintenance of the pump

*Recommended flow is half of the max flow (e.g. recommended flow for a T100 is 62 l/min)
**The value is based on pumps with PTFE diaphragms (for other materials please contact our sales team directly) – notably, the volume of stroke may vary depending on the pump’s operating parameters
***Not available on T800
****This is the maximum value with Stainless Steel valve balls. Other valve ball materials may reduce suction
Our HDPE & PTFE Diaphragm Pumps are available in a range of executions, including Drum Pumps, with built-on air kits, built-on dampeners, trolley-mounted, or with optional carry handles.
Handles for HDPE & PTFE Diaphragm Pumps are manufactured from PTFE coated Stainless Steel AISI 304L.
Our AODD Pumps can also be fitted to a range of skids and systems, either off-the-shelf or custom-made. Speak to our sales team to discuss your options.
Twin Inlet & Outlet
Our TT Twin Pumps may be fitted with multiple porting configurations to achieve up to 2 pumps in 1 for blending, mixing or recirculation applications and therefore simplifying pipework configurations and the system in general! The example shows that the TT Twin HDPE/PTFE Pump is fitted with twin inlet and outlet ports. They are effectively enabling two pumps in one.
There are a few examples of when the TT Series would be quoted for a Tapflo customer:
Built on Dampener
Our Built On Dampener Pump is ideal if you are looking for an effective way to eliminate pressure variations on the pump discharge for your Diaphragm Pump, eliminate pulsing flow to 98% effectiveness, and have limited space in your installation. It provides all the advantages of using a standard Tapflo DT dampener but is a compact solution.
Our Pulsation Dampener is an excellent addition to our range of Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, and offers the following benefits:

Integrated Flanges
Tapflo provides a solution for the most demanding applications with our Integrated Flanges Pump, which has a robust and solid design that is an ideal solution when there is a risk of transferring vibrations from the installation of the pump as the solid manifolds provide better stability and sealing for the pump.
Using this solution we can connect the pump to the installation by a flange (DIN, ANSI) or through a BSP threaded centre.
