The RID Gearbox Drive Flexible Impeller Pump, is characterised by its close-coupled design to a geared motor. This pump excels at handling medium to high viscosity, shear-sensitive, and abrasive fluids with viscosities up to 50,000 cPs.
This model can be supplied trolley-mounted, with or without baseplates, with or without control panels and with wired dry-run protection. Additionally, FDA-approved EPDM and NBR impellers are available for enhanced sanitation.

This self-priming model is a form of positive displacement pump; it moves fluid from the suction port to the discharge port by trapping fluid between the impellers, forcing it towards the outlet. This model features an on/off switch mounted on a trolley for convenience and transportation.
If you’re considering which gearbox drive flexible impeller pump to choose, the RID MAXI DOUBLE 2Q doubles the flow capability of the RID MAXI 80, whereas the RID MAXI DOUBLE 2H doubles the head capability.
