Pneumatic Level Controllers are systems designed to automate your Diaphragm Pump. These systems can be used in a variety of applications across the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Water Treatment industries.
Operated with pneumatic components only, these controllers can be installed in sumps, tanks or tubs to start and stop the pump at specific liquid levels. Manual start with the TPUK-LM version or automatic start with the TPUK-LA.
The level controller measures 200 x 200 x 130 mm and is available for all Tapflo Diaphragm Pumps. It can be supplied in either ABS Plastic (IP55 or 65) or Stainless Steel AISI 316 (IP44).
| Specification | Description |
|---|---|
| Ambient Temperature (ºC) | -50 to 40 |
| Air Pressure (m) | 30 to 70 |
| Pilot Output Flow Rate @ 60m with P = 1 (NI/min) | 120 |
| Air Consumption (l/min) | 2 (av) |
TPUK-LA Variation
Automatic evacuating/filling of vessels or sumps
The level controller uses low-pressure air and dip tubes to accurately monitor liquid levels. Configured for either filling or emptying, it maintains the liquid level between the high and low points. When the liquid reaches the high-level tube, the pump starts or stops as required until the target level is restored, with level detection accurate to within a few millimetres.
TPUK-LM Variation
Manual filling/evacuating of vessels or sumps
The system is manually started and the AODD pump begins pumping emptying or filling the vessel or sump. The pump is then automatically stopped when the liquid surface is detected at the dip tube.
