The NORD SK180 Motor Mounted Variable Speed Drive (VSD) delivers a power range spanning 0.18 kW to 7.5 kW and is equipped with vectorial control to ensure consistent motor torque across diverse operating conditions.
The speed drive offers superior adaptability, enabling speeds of up to 100 Hz for specialised applications. For added safety, this unit features automatic protection triggered by over-temperatures, over-voltages and cover-currents, guarding against damage and enhancing longevity.
The mounted variable speed drives can be utilised to over speed motors up to 100 Hz. The unit is provided with a standard protection device that automatically triggered off by over-temperatures, over-voltages and over-currents to prevent the unit from being damaged. Proven to be the most cost-effective and reliable solution.
They can be delivered with for either a single-phase (up to 1.5 kW) or three-phase (0.55 – 7.5 kW) feed supply with optional Forced Ventilation Cooling (for very low operating speeds), IP66 Protection & RS232 Interface Cables.
 All VSDs come delivered with 4-20 mA & RS485 Connections and Optional Programming Controllers are available on request.
