NORD SK180 Motor Mounted Variable Speed Drives

The NORD SK180 is a Motor Mounted Variable Speed Drive (VSD). Delivering a power range spanning 0.18 kW to 7.5 kW, our pumps are equipped with vectorial control to ensure consistent motor torque across diverse operating conditions. The frequency spectrum, from 2 Hz to the motor’s rated frequency, provdides superior adaptability, enabling speeds of up to 100 Hz for specialised applications. For added safety. this unit features automatic protection triggered by over-temperatures, over-voltages and cover-currents, guarding against damage and enhancing longevity.

Overview

The mounted variable speed drives can be utilised to over speed motors up to 100 Hz. The unit is provided with a standard protection device that automatically triggered off by over-temperatures, over-voltages and over-currents to prevent the unit from being damaged. Proven to be the most cost-effective and reliable solution.

They can be delivered with for either a single-phase (up to 1.5 kW) or three-phase (0.55 – 7.5 kW) feed supply with optional Forced Ventilation Cooling (for very low operating speeds), IP66 Protection & RS232 Interface Cables.

 All VSDs come delivered with 4-20 mA & RS485 Connections and Optional Programming Controllers are available on request.
