Operation

Evaporators 

A two-phase refrigerant enters the bottom welded connection and evaporates as it moves through the heat exchanger, achieving the required overheating level. Water or glycol flows in a counter-current direction to maximise heat transfer. 

Condensers 

Hot refrigerant vapours enter the top welded connection and condense as they move through the heat exchanger, ensuring optimal subcooling. Water or glycol flows in the opposite direction for maximum efficiency. 

Heating & Cooling 

In HVAC and industrial systems, these heat exchangers effectively transfer thermal energy between media, ensuring stable operation and energy efficiency. 

Leak Detection & Safety 

SafePLATE’s double-wall system prevents fluid mixing by directing leaks outside the exchanger for quick identification and maintenance.
