Operating Principle

  • Once the system is positioned, pallets with drums can be easily supplied using a forklift truck or manual pallet truck.
  • Using the articulated arm, equipped with the pump, to securely position the scraping lid on the top of the drum to be unloaded first.
  • After the pump is properly situated, it can be initiated by simply pressing the START button on the control panel. The pump will automatically descend until it reaches the bottom of the drum, at which point it will halt.
  • Lastly, the unloading of the drum involves removing the lid from an empty drum.

Drums & Containers

Drum Type Details
Straight Drums: The 200-litre straight steel drum stands out as the most common and available choice. For efficient handling
Conical Drums: These containers offer exceptional space-saving capabilities by nesting together when empty. This design not only optimises storage efficiency but also ensures a clutter-free workspace.
Drum solutions tailored to your needs: Our High Viscosity System (HVS) is expertly adaptable, the system is specifically designed for drum unloading systems handling viscous liquids.
IBC, Goodpack, and Bag-in-Box® Options: Our HVS systems can also be configured to unload IBC containers, Goodpack multimodal containers, or Bag-in-Box® containers.

Customisable Control Panels

The HVS Quattro is operated through an integrated control panel, featuring a user-friendly interface. Operators can easily switch between automatic and manual modes. The control panel includes pushbuttons for precise pump positioning (RAISE or LOWER), pump control (START or STOP) and the ability to adjust pumping speed. For added safety and peace of mind, each control panel is equipped with the main system switch (ON/OFF) and a safety pushbutton (E-STOP).

We manufacture our control panels in-house, allowing you the freedom to tailor each Drum Unloading System to your specific requirements.
