HVS Drum Unloading System Operating Process

Step 1

Drum Positioning

Pallets with drums are delivered using a forklift or pallet truck. The mobile HVS System is wheeled into position around the drum.

Step 2

Pump Lowering

The Diaphragm Pump is lowered into the drum ready for the unloading process.

Step 3

Unloading Process

In automatic mode, the pump lowers and unloads until the drum is empty, then stops automatically. In manual mode, operators can adjust the lowering and pumping controls directly.

Step 4

Scraping Lid Function

The scraper lid (lip seal or inflatable seal) descends with the pump, ensuring maximum recovery by scraping product from the drum walls.

Step 5

Completion

Once empty, compressed air is introduced between the lid and drum to assist in the clean removal of the follower plate.
