TS Group Celebrates a New Chapter: State-of-the-Art Headquarters

At the end of 2025, we signed the lease for a newly built facility in Nursling, Southampton – more than doubling the size of all our current buildings – and have since been working on designs to create a space we can truly be proud of. Builders are currently transforming the site into offices, breakout areas, and warehouse facilities, enabling Tapflo UK and Sychem to share a collaborative space and utilise the skills across the group

This move marks a significant milestone for TS Group, representing a strategic advancement that enhances our ability to support large projects, increases our capacity, and allows us to offer long-term commitment to serving customers and partners well into the future.

Our new facility spans over 32,000 square feet, with the capacity to store more than 680 pallets, enabling us to significantly increase stock levels and reduce lead times. Our in-house production of Skids and systems designed and built in-house includes new systems being designed for the hospital and laboratory market. We will continue to develop and build our class-leading air flow product range, which in turn will allow us to increase our stock holdings. Furthermore, the Fluid Division is rapidly developing into large skids and systems, including large diesel pump sets for wastewater.

Designed for both operational efficiency and cultural enrichment, the site will feature:

Specialist decontamination training centre:

A fully compliant training facility featuring equipment competency courses and tailored training packages, a dedicated cleanroom, and aseptic training suites. The centre supports HTM105 & HTM101 standards across all washers and autoclaves.

Advanced storage and inventory systems:

· Large cold storage (4m x 4m) for temperature-sensitive equipment

· SAP-integrated barcode systems to ensure accuracy, real-time management

What started as a small UK business operating from Mick Barnes’ garage in 1997, built on the foundation of Tapflo Group, Tapflo UK, has evolved into one of the most respected pump manufacturers and suppliers in the UK market.

Over the years, Mick has grown the business through strategic development, beginning with the acquisition of Sychem in the early 2000s, which marked the formation of TS Group. Among our many successful ventures, the founding of Attega Group in 2019 and the launch of Tapflo in the Gulf region in 2022 highlight the company’s growth and vision.

This move highlights our commitment to future growth and development, both as a business and through continued investment in our staff. The new headquarters has been designed to support motivation and culture, featuring multiple meeting rooms and pods, quiet zones, and communal areas, including a large canteen and relaxation space. Together, these areas create an environment that supports employee well-being while encouraging collaboration and innovation.

This investment marks the start of an exciting new phase of growth for TS Group. Plans are already in place to further expand the building, creating additional capacity to support staff growth and development. Alongside this, sustainability is being further embedded into our operations through initiatives such as the installation of solar panels and transitioning to a fully electric vehicle fleet.

The relocation marks a defining moment in TS Group’s journey. By bringing together our companies under one roof, investing in advanced facilities and embedding sustainability into everything we do, we are positioning the business for long-term success.
