Up to 99% product removal at 400L per minute.
Our HVS Quattro Drum Unloading System is purpose-built for the high-volume unloading of highly viscous liquids. Designed to work with multiple drums (typically four on a pallet), the Quattro combines speed, automation, and efficiency, unloading up to 400 l/min with a product recovery rate of up to 99%, while handling viscosities up to 100,000cP. At the heart of the system is a Sanitary Double Diaphragm Pump with integrated lifting and lowering functions, mounted on a mobile articulated arm for smooth drum-to-drum transfer. The HVS Quattro System is ideal for industries that require consistent high throughput, hygienic operation, and minimal product loss.
Unload up to 4x 200L drums arranged on a pallet, one after another, with a mobile articulated arm
Achieve discharge speeds of up to 400l/min, unloading a 200L drum in as little as 2 minutes
Benefit from up to 99% product extraction, reducing product loss and cutting operational costs
Capable of handling liquids with viscosities up to 20,000 cP
Automatic operation ensures the pump stops when a drum is empty, freeing operators for other tasks
Available with ATEX certification for safe use in hazardous or explosive environments

Straight Drums (200L steel):
The most common and widely available option. Delivered singly or in sets of four on pallets
Conical Drums:
Space-saving when empty, ideal for high-volume production
Tailored Drum Solutions:
Custom scraping lids (lip seal or inflatable seal) for different drum types, compensating for shape variation or wall damage
IBC, Goodpack, Bag-in-Box®:
Optional configurations available for alternative containers
The system is positioned at the drum storage area, with pallets delivered via forklift or pallet truck
Using the articulated arm, the pump and scraping lid are lowered onto the drum to be unloaded
Pressing START initiates automatic unloading; the pump lowers as liquid is extracted, stopping when the drum is empty
Alternatively, manual control can be used for pump movement and operation
The empty drum’s lid is removed, with optional compressed air assist to speed removal
The articulated arm then moves the pump across to the next drum, repeating the process
It is designed for high-volume unloading of viscous liquids, especially when multiple drums need to be emptied quickly and efficiently.
A Sanitary Double Diaphragm Pump with integrated lifting/lowering, mounted on an articulated arm.
Up to 400l/min, meaning a 200L drum can be emptied in under 2 minutes (depending on product and discharge pressure).
Up to 99% product recovery rate minimises loss and reduces costs.
