Slurry Horizontal Pump

As a norm, these pumps are usually manufactured from robust materials such as cast iron, stainless-steel and alloy, ensuring the pump is able to endure the abrasive nature of the slurry. This work horse can also handle particles up to a particular size. Equipped with wear-resistant materials on the wear plate and impeller, the lifetime of the pump is increased. These pumps are commonly used in a variety of industrial applications such as mining, mineral processing, construction and wastewater treatment. They are also available with different types of impellers such as Enclosed, Semi-Open or Vortex impellers to handle different types of slurries.

• Option of sliding base frame, allowing the pumps to be disconnected from the pipework if there is no lifting equipment; this also reduces downtime by up to 50%. Only the back casing needs to be unbolted (the flanges can remain connected to the pipework)
