The HVS Drum Unloading Machine (High Viscosity System) is specially designed for handling high-viscosity, paste-like substances that don’t flow easily, such as tomato paste, coconut and tahini oils, fruit and vegetable pulps and resins. Equipped with a Sanitary Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump, this system ensures efficient emptying of barrels, while boasting features such as sandblasted or electropolished surfaces for enhanced sanitation. Adhering to EN 10204 and FDA standards, this system delivers optimal performance and hygiene in both Industrial and Hygienic sectors. With a volume per stroke of 2,300 ml, it can remove up to 99% of the product from the drum, accommodating solids passage of up to 15mm (ball valve) and 42mm (flap valve). Its contact surface roughness is Ra<1.6 as standard, with optional smoother finishes of <0.8 & <0.5 available. Additionally, it holds an ATEX-rating, making it suitable for use in hazardous environments.

The High Viscosity System (HVS) is engineered to simplify the unloading of 200L drums containing high-viscosity, paste-like and non-self-flowing substances. This versatile drum unloading machine is incredibly mobile and can empty a drum, even one filled with double-concentrated tomato paste, in under 2 minutes, showcasing it’s speed and efficiency. Designed for handling high viscosity liquids and hygienic applications, the HVS Drum unloading machine empties substances transported in barrels, such as:
Food and Beverage:
Cosmetic and Pharmaceuticals:
Being a piece of pneumatically powered equipment, the actuators within the HVS Drum raise and lower the pump, while the AODD pump works due to two diaphragms connected by a single diagram shaft. It is pushed back and forth by alternately pressurising the air chambers behind the shaft and using an automatically cycled air valve system to alternately pressurise the air chambers behind the diaphragms.

For the longevity and reliability of your pump and system, we recommend having spare parts on hand, and based on the application and the severity of the operation, we offer two different spare part kits:
HVS Quattro:Â incorporates a Sanitary Air Operated Diaphragm Pump for Hygienic applications
HVS Flexi:Â incorporates a Hygienic Progressive Cavity Pump for Hygienic applications
