Just like that, it’s already the end of September and we can’t believe just how fast the month has gone as it marks the beginning of the last 3 months of 2018! So as we ascend into October this week, here’s a round-up of what’s been going on in the Tapflo UK office throughout September.
The month kicked off with a Charity Golf Tournament at East Horton Golf Club, an event the Tapflo UK Directors have taken part in and donated to every year since 2010. Eddie chooses a different charity for the tournament each year to raise money for, which is decided upon depending on what events may have affected the competitors’ lives or their friends and family’s lives in the past year. This year, the tournament was held to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK as two of the regular competitors have been diagnosed with this disease within the past year. Everyone had a great day, successfully raising £2,700 for Prostate Cancer UK.
17th – 20th September marked a trip to Tapflo HQ in Poland! The Sales Team headed to Poland ready to give a presentation on the success of our sales to the rest of Tapflo Group. It was a really successful presentation with everyone laughing at Luke and Luke’s jokes – Tapflo UK’s very own Ant and Dec! The team also brought home an award for ‘Fast Grower,’ as Tapflo UK has doubled in size in the past year. We love all the hard work that’s come with growing and we’re constantly improving. Watch this space!
We had an office shakeup! With the company expanding so quickly, we’re running out of space in our office, so it was essential for the office to be rearranged so that everyone has a bright, clean, spacious environment to work in, which helps Tapflo to grow even more. Now we’re ready to smash our end of 2018 targets! Let us know how your company is keeping the team motivated and building teamwork to make sure you end 2018 on a high.
We’ve been smashing the market with our CTH Hygienic Centrifugal Pumps. They’re perfect for breweries due to their FDA approved materials. Our Sales Executive, Luke, has been working hard to get these out of the door and into the arms of happy customers, including 2 CTH Pumps to a large, well-known brewery. Luke recently wrote a guest article on why you should use an FDA approved pump for pumping beer, he’s our beer and pump expert! Interested in receiving a quote for a CTH Pump? Email Luke S!
After months of planning and training, the team have completed their Tough Mudder! We’re extremely proud of everyone that took part on the day, you’ve done something amazing for a good cause. Visit We’re Tough Enough to find out exactly how the event went! The team signed up to Tough Mudder in order to raise money for a charity called the Society of St James (SSJ), who support homeless people in Hampshire. The money that the charity receive goes towards providing access to services and accommodation to get people off the street and into somewhere safe. Rather than supplying those struggling on the street with short term help, such as food, SSJ try to encourage and focus on providing long term solutions. This includes safe housing and services which aim to change the situation of these vulnerable people.
For example, in August, SSJ purchased another property in order to reduce the number of homeless people and rough sleepers within Hampshire. This is the 4th property they have secured since April. You can sponsor the team’s Tough Mudder over on our JustGiving page; your donations will help SSJ complete more work helping to provide safe housing and improve access to services.

This year’s PPMA marked something new for Tapflo. The team went bigger and better than any previous year with a larger stand and a live demonstration of the LEAP Pump. It was a really successful week that saw the team collecting over 200 leads, and now the hard work begins as the Sales Team do what they do best: converting leads into sales! If you stopped by the stand last week, we’re really looking forward to working with you soon, and it was great to meet so many new people and catch up with familiar faces to celebrate our industry’s success. What did you think of our new stand this year? We were so proud of how it all came together. Luke B loved it so much that he danced too hard at the PPMA Awards and got cramp, here’s a picture of him stretching it out!
