WHAT IS THE TP POWDER TRANSFER PUMP FOR?
The TP Powder Transfer Pump is based on a standard Tapflo air operated diaphragm pump and is an economical and compact alternative to many complex and large powder systems. It’s innovative design not only means it can be portable but also reduces the space requirement for powder transfer applications and also the complexity and cost of installation, commissioning & maintenance.
The TP powder transfer pumps are a modified version from the standard PTFE coated aluminium series. The non-stick PTFE coating enables an efficient transfer through the pump, with the least possible resistance.
Types of Powders
The TP Powder Transfer Pump will handle different types of process powders, with specific weight from 80 up to 720 kg/m³ dry weight.
Generally, if the powder does not clump together when you squeeze it in your hand, the Tapflo powder transfer pump can be used successfully. A few examples of common powders are sintering powder, carbon black, resins and silicones.
Capacity & Technical Data:
The capacity of the TP Powder Transfer Pump is extremely different from one powder to another, depending on the consistency and weight etc. For more specific information about the capacity in your application, please contact your local Tapflo distributor.
