What is the DT Active Pulsation PE & PTFE Dampener for?

DT Active Pulsation PE PTFE Dampener is constructed from the same robust solid block materials and diaphragms as the Tapflo PE & PTFE Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, summarised as follows:

Polyethylene: Hi-Density Polyethylene (PP HD) has better physical and chemical parameters than standard polypropylene (PP). It is several times more resistant to wear what makes this material ideal for abrasive and aggressive liquids. It can also withstand liquid temperature up to 70°C.

PTFE: PTFE is excellent for use in applications requiring high temperatures. It may also be used for very aggressive fluids such as chlorinated hydrocarbons and highly aggressive acids. Maximum liquid temperature is 100°C

When ATEX rated these are impregnated with carbon to facilitate conductivity and are supplied with earthing connections and diaphragms with conductive backs.

Pulp & Paper:  Glue, slurries, adhesives, dispersions, resins, sodium silicate & titanium oxide

Surface Conditioning:  Electroplating baths, various acids, solvents, anodic sludge, varnish & enamels

Water Treatment:  Sludge handling, filter press applications, neutralization & flocculants

Electronics: Carrier fluids, ultra-pure liquids, electroplating solutions, mercury & solvents

Print & Paint:  Glue, additives, varnish, ink, paint, latex, acid, resins & pigments
